Job Description
Executive Director for an Assisted Living Senior Living Community
Job Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation of the Retirement Community.
Responsible for strategic planning, goal setting, financial activities and reporting.
Provide leadership in developing and implementing systems for providing comprehensive services and care to residents.
Ensure accountability and good working relationships among the staff.
Ensure compliance of programs and facilities with regulatory agencies.
Support Sales and Marketing team in meeting census needs.
Job Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to work with seniors in a long-term care environment.
Three to five years prior work experience with geriatric residents in an Executive Director or General Manager role.
Minimum of 2 years of college, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current administrator’s certificate (CA).
In-depth knowledge of budgets; creating, managing and compliance.
In-depth knowledge and ability to meet state regulations, health laws, etc.
Strong management and supervising experience, including hiring, training and coaching and counseling.
Strong ability to organize, plan, coordinate and execute the operations of the community including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coaching techniques.
Demonstrated ability to actively foster and cultivate a team.
Must be able to exhibit strong business judgment and have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
