HIM Director - Acute Care Hospital

Job Description:

• The Director provides oversight of all HIM functions including health records, transcription, coding, abstracting and computer applications.
• The Director supervises and trains all HIM employees and coordinates education for hospital staff including ICD-10 training.

Job Requirements:

• The candidate must be a polished professional with a history of working in an acute care hospital system with strong leadership skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management position in the HIM field.
• Must have a Degree - Associate's or Bachelor's.
• Must have RHIA or RHIT credential.
